I created this piece of art to acknowledge the challenges and capture the beauty of Banff National Park and my way to immortalize my experience and a tangible reminder of the journey and the transformative landscapes encountered.

The transformation of the Larch Valley trail into a golden field of Larches during Autumn paints a vivid picture of nature's vibrant transition. It's fascinating how the changing seasons can completely alter the landscape, offering a different perspective for those who embark on the trail. As a gateway to Sentinel Pass and, ultimately, the summit of Mount Temple, it adds a sense of accomplishment to the narrative. Mountains often symbolize challenges and conquering them is a metaphor for overcoming obstacles in life.
